Lighting the Lamp of Change – The Story of Suddhika

Purifying Your Space, Empowering Her Dreams
Sometimes, the most meaningful ideas are born from the simplest moments.
That’s exactly how Suddhika – Purifying Every Corner came into our lives at Subheccha Naturals.
How It All Started
It was a quiet afternoon at our Off-Grid Rajasthan Farms. The women working with us were preparing a fresh batch of herbal dhoop sticks using pure cow dung and natural ingredients like tulsi, guggal, loban, and neem. The air smelled of earth and herbs — something very calming.
Among them was Anamika, one of our senior team members. Once the sticks were ready, she lit one to check its aroma and walked around the rooms. Within minutes, the whole space felt different — clean, peaceful, and somehow lighter.
At that time, Dr. Neeti Kaushik, who often visits the farm along with Mr Sanjay Kaushik, happened to be there. She watched Anamika moving through the room, gently spreading the smoke into every corner.

She smiled and said,
“This feels very pure, Anamika. It has such a calm energy. I think we should share this with others — I’m sure people will like it.”
That small moment led to a discussion about making these sticks available to everyone — people who value natural living and simple traditions.
The next question was: what should we call it?
After a little thought, Dr. Neeti said,
“It’s purifying every space, every corner, every bit of energy around us. Why not call it Suddhika?”
And that’s how the name was born.
It just felt right — simple, rooted in purity, and close to our values.
That’s how Suddhika started — not in a marketing meeting, but in a real moment filled with care, curiosity, and a bit of inspiration.
What Makes Suddhika Special
Suddhika is made with ingredients that have been part of Indian homes for centuries.
It includes cow dung, camphor, tulsi, neem, loban, guggal, jatamansi, elaichi, laung, and desi ghee — all blended together with care.
There are no chemicals, no charcoal, and no synthetic perfumes.
Just natural, farm-sourced ingredients that help purify the air and bring a calm feeling to your surroundings.
When you light it, the aroma is earthy and gentle. It clears out unpleasant smells and gives a sense of freshness. It’s ideal for morning or evening rituals, during meditation, or simply when you want to cleanse the space after a long day.
Once it’s done burning, you can even put the ash in your plants — it works as a natural fertilizer.
The Hands Behind Suddhika
Every Suddhika stick is made by women like Anamika, Mukhlesh, and Kamla — women from nearby villages who have joined us at Off-Grid Rajasthan Farms.
When they first started, many of them didn’t have much experience outside their homes. We trained them to prepare the herbal blends, roll the sticks, and manage production. Over time, they became skilled artisans who take great pride in their work.
Today, they earn their own income, support their families, and also train other women.
For many, this is their first step toward financial independence.
As Kamla once said,
“Earlier, I used to light dhoop for puja. Now, I make it myself and send it to hundreds of homes. It feels good knowing something I made helps others.”
And that’s what Suddhika truly stands for — not just purity in the product, but dignity and empowerment for the women who create it.
Rooted in Sustainable Living
Everything we do at Subheccha Naturals is guided by one simple belief — what we take from the Earth, we must return with respect.
Our Off-Grid Rajasthan Farms follow sustainable and organic practices. The cow dung we use comes from indigenous Indian cows cared for on the farm. The herbs are grown without chemicals. The sticks are dried under sunlight instead of being machine-processed.
Even our packaging is eco-friendly and biodegradable.
Every part of the process is designed to be natural and kind to the environment.
About Subheccha Naturals
Subheccha means Good Wishes, and that name reflects our purpose.
Subheccha Naturals is managed by Off-Grid Rajasthan Farms, founded by Sanjay Kaushik, a passionate environmentalist who has spent over two decades working in areas like organic farming, vermiculture, animal welfare, and rural development.
Here, every product is created with two goals in mind:
- To offer natural, chemical-free options that are safe for people and the planet.
- To create meaningful work opportunities for rural women, helping them build financial stability and confidence.
From handmade soaps to herbal blends, every Subheccha product is made with care and intention — and Suddhika is one of our proudest creations.
Why People Love Suddhika
People often tell us that lighting Suddhika has become part of their daily routine — before meditation, during pooja, or after cleaning their homes.
It’s more than a fragrance; it’s a moment of calm.
And the best part?
Every time someone buys Suddhika, they’re not only choosing a natural, eco-friendly product but also helping a woman in rural Rajasthan support her family.
It’s a small action that creates a big impact — both for your home and for someone else’s life.
Lighting the Lamp of Change
Suddhika began as a simple idea — a few women at the farm making dhoop sticks from natural ingredients. But today, it’s a small movement toward conscious living and empowerment.
When you light a Suddhika stick, you’re doing two good things at once:
- You’re purifying your surroundings with nature’s goodness.
- And you’re helping women like Anamika, Mukhlesh, and Kamla move one step closer to independence.
It’s amazing how something so small — a stick made from cow dung and herbs — can carry so much purpose.
For us, Suddhika is not just a product. It’s a reminder that when purity, tradition, and compassion come together, real change begins — quietly, naturally, and beautifully.
So, the next time you light a Suddhika stick, take a moment to breathe, smile, and remember —
you’re not just purifying your space,
you’re lighting the lamp of change.
